FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS
What
are custom sneakers? What do you actually do to them?
Sneakers come in as plain
white shoes, and through a process come out as amazingly
hand-crafted wearable pieces of art. A description of
the process is better discussed on the [SNEAKER
INFO] page.
How
can I order a pair? Vist
the [ORDER
INFO] section for a detailed explanation.
Do
you only do shoes for celebrities and athletes?
Well..."Yes &
No." Sometimes there will be openings available
to fill orders - so don't hesitate to get placed on
the waiting list, but because of the product and its
price, celebrities & athletes do usually make up
our target market.
What
style & brand of shoes do you work with? T.WayCustoms
is not currently under contract with any brands, so
he is able to work with any brand of shoe that you can
come up with. Really the only requirement is that it's
a leather sneaker...and it also helps to be an all-white
pair.
Should
I provide the brand new shoe to be worked on? Yes
please, the client is best to provide the sneaker so
that there are no mistakes in sizes or styles, etc.
How
long does it take from the time I submit an order to
the time I receive the customized shoes? Well
my friend, that varies depending on the current amount
of orders & the number at which your's is listed.
Once your order is being filled, it takes 2-3 weeks
for the sneakers to be completed & maybe a few days
to be shipped or hand-delivered (depending on your location).
How
many dollars & cents does it require of me? That's
another of those questions that are difficult to answer
since it depends on the design along with other factors
involved. We'll provide you with a good estimate once
you contact us for your order.
How
do I make the payment? A
down payment is made before the process begins on-line
with a credit/debit card or through a Paypal.com account.
Then once the sneakers have been completed, the remainder
of the amount is paid using the same method. The old
school alternative would be to send a check through
the mail - but honestly, that just doesn't happen very
much.
How
durable are the finished products? They
are just as durable as your nicest pair of sneakers.
They will not chip, crack, or peel under normal wear
(normal wear does not include shooting hoops, heavy
clubbing, etc.) Obviously be aware of what you do &
how you do when wearing, but if you're a sneakerhead
or just enjoy a high quality pair of sneakers then you
already know how to treat them.
